As an artist, I strive to capture the ephemeral and transcendental and often use the female body to explore eroticism, religion, and personal identity. Mainly I work with photography and artistic self-portraiture, though occasionally I make use of other mediums, such as painting, collage, digital art, and sculpture.

a.d. is drawn to the sacred, the profane, the mysterious and the mythological, which provides inspiration for her work.
