Sharon Pretti lives in San Francisco, California. Her work has been published in Nostos, Spillway, MARGIE, The Bellevue Literary Review, The Comstock Review, The Healing Muse and other journals. She is an award-winning haiku poet and a frequent contributor to haiku journals including Modern Haiku and Frogpond. She works as a medical social worker at a large county hospital where she also runs a poetry group for seniors and disabled adults. For many years Sharon taught poetry workshops at assisted living facilities in Marin County and San Francisco.
