Mary Salisbury, an Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship recipient and finalist for the Orlando Poetry Prize, graduated with an MFA in Writing from Pacific University. Finishing Line Press published Salisbury’s chapbook, Come What May, in 2014. Salisbury’s short fiction received Honorable Mention from Glimmer Train Press. Salisbury’s short story, “Remembering Carlos,” was published in Cutthroat‘s Truth to Power edition, and her essay, “Ancient Oaks,” was recently published in Fiction Southeast in their Why I Write column.

Salisbury is a two time finalist for the Rick DeMarinis story award and received Honorable Mention for a second time with Glimmer Train. She lives in Portland, Oregon.
